This place has a great location next to the river, close to other guesthouses, the town center, and surrounded by mountains and rivers.

This new place is our favorite with incredibly friendly staff, in a perfect location close to Tad Mook waterfall, fantastic restaurants, caves, and trekking spots.

We did encounter a slight issue when we first arrived regarding the room type. We had booked two double rooms, but were given one twin and one double.

We had a fantastic stay at a guesthouse in Nong Khiaw. the location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the river and surrounded by mouthwatering restaurants. the room was spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. the staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. Plus, the view from the balcony was breathtaking, allowing us to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. a delightful experience.

There were some drawbacks. the bathroom lacked adequate lighting, making it difficult to see properly.

Meexai Guesthouse is conveniently located in the heart of town, making it easy to access nearby restaurants and enjoy the riverside. the rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. the bathroom is typical for Laos, but is well-maintained with good drainage and no unpleasant odors. the friendly staff provide excellent service, and the breakfast options are delicious. Some rooms even offer beautiful views of the river and mountains.

The hotel lacks air conditioning, which can make the rooms quite stuffy and uncomfortable, especially during hot weather.
